Voting! You know its critical and we’ll help you get it right. First, know that Florida state law no longer has absentee voting as an option. “The COVID 19 pandemic is convincing more people to vote by mail. It's safe and reliable but nothing is perfect, so make it easier for the system to get it right. There have been changes since the 2016 presidential and 2018 midterm elections.

Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3. In Florida, postmarks don’t count and late ballots are not counted.
If you wait, you risk that the ballot will arrive late, and the vote won’t get counted. Simply put, do it ASAP.
Sign the ballot envelope! This is necessary to identify yourself.
A missing signature means a ballot won’t be counted. A signature that doesn’t match what’s on file is flagged and may not be counted, so be consistent with signing.
All early voting sites accept mail ballots. Go online or call your elections department for the official locations.
Nov. 1st is the last day of early voting.
If you drop off your mail ballot at an early voting site, place them in the return envelope with a signature as if you were placing it in the mail.
Take your ballot to your Supervisor of Elections office on Monday, Nov. 2nd and Election Day, Nov. 3rd. Some locations allow drive thru drop off of ballots.
State law doesn’t allow people to drop off mail ballots at neighborhood polling sites on Election Day.
